Michele M. Heyman, CPA/CFF, CVA, CFE

Michele Heyman, CPA/CFF, CVA, CFEMichele has over 20 years of experience in public accounting. In that time she has created long-lasting relationships with her clients and in the Austin community. Her experience has led to the establishment of her own practice specializing in Tax Planning and Preparation, Business Advisory Services, Fraud Examination and Forensic Accounting.

Michele earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Since that time, Michele has worked with a variety of small to regional sized public accounting firms. In these firms, she focused on servicing individuals, family businesses and not-for-profit organizations by providing tax, accounting and business advisory services.

Michele is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds the Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) designation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA); the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designation from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE); and the Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) designation from the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA).

Michele is an active member of the community. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. In addition, Michele currently serves as a board member of the Rotary Club of Austin, Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants including the Austin Chapter and the North Central Catholic School Corporation.

Julie Dale, CPA

Julie Dale, CPAJulie has over a dozen years of experience in public accounting with a strong focus on federal and state income tax compliance, planning, and research. Her life-long love of mathematics has led to a successful career in the accounting field.

Julie earned both a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master in Professional Accounting in Taxation from the University of Texas in Austin. Prior to receiving those degrees, she was granted the honor of attending the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science, which allowed her to concurrently complete the final two years of high school while earning over eighty credit hours attending courses at the University of North Texas. She has gained her experience with local Austin accounting firms providing accounting and tax services to small businesses, individuals, trusts, and estates.

Julie was licensed as a Texas CPA in 2003. She is a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA) and the Estate Planning Council of Central Texas. She has served in various volunteer roles at the Austin Chapter of TSCPA. Julie currently serves on the Federal Tax Policy Committee with TSCPA. This committee submits comments to legislators and governmental agencies regarding recommendations on federal tax legislation, regulations, and administrative pronouncements.
